Happy Hours

I have been going to a lot of places around town lately to find out where the best Happy Hours are located. It’s nice to go have a few drinks with friends after work and not have to go place to place looking for somewhere fun to go. Below is a list of the 5 places I recommend for Happy Hour:

• Candelari’s Pizzeria - Happy Hour is from 3p.m. to 7p.m.
• Taisho’s Steak and Sushi - Happy Hour is from 3:00p.m. to 5p.m. I know it’s a little early, but it’s great for half days!
• Mike’s Ultimate - They have trivia on Wednesday nights
• Antonia’s - Ladies martini nights on Wednesdays nights
• Masones - They have an early happy hour from 11a.m. to 7p.m. which is nice since the World Cup is going on right now.

Best Sushi in Town

I went to Edojin yesterday and the sushi was yummy! I am vegetarian and I don’t eat seafood. I split Edamame and Tempura for appetizers which were delicious. I know you can’t really go wrong making Edamame. The Tempura was perfectly cooked and the veggies tasted fresh. For my meal, I asked them to make me a special vegetarian role. It had cucumber, carrots and mushrooms in it with brown rice which was delicious. Everything tasted very fresh. My friend eats meat; and he ordered Rocky Mountain Roll and Volcano Roll. He loved both of them.

We will definitely be coming here again. The chef was also very helpful and kind. We sat at the bar so he would give us samples to taste while we were waiting on our food.

Alicia’s Mexican Grille

Talk about amazing Mexican Food! I had Alicia’s Mexican Grille the other day and it was awesome. I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant for a while. It’s located at 26326 Northwest Freeway.

I had the Senor Burrito with no meat since I am vegetarian and it was delicious. All the veggies tasted fresh, there wasn’t too much cheese, and their salsa is not too spicy. My friend had the mushroom enchiladas which I tasted and they were great!

Overall our experience was really good! The staff was friendly and place seemed very clean. I highly recommend this place if you have not been before.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration!

Looking for something to do for Cinco de Mayo? La Finca is having a feista that day. They will have drink specials running all day long.

It will be fun for the whole family. There will be Mariachis from 7pm - 9pm and kids eat free! The food is absolutely delicious! And the service is good too. I usually don’t eat desserts at Mexican Restaurants but their chocolate cake is amazing! I get it every time I go there.
